Buttons Bashers contiuned with their fine run of form on a very mild spring afternoon.

 

Despite the strong wind Nailsea started with the wind to their advantage and they soon scored with a fantastic individual effort from Rob Burrows who weaved his way through at least six tackles. Nathan Dowling duly converted.

 

Five minutes later a superb move that passed through at least 8 pairs of hands saw Martin Pratt finish in the corner. Nailsea continued to use their explosive backs to good effect with Dave Button chasing down a monster of a kick from Andy Kingston to score. Again Dowling converted. Another superb run from Burrows saw the in form center finnish superbly.

 

Nailsea didn't let up and completed the half with Liam Harris creating space in the centre of the pitch to score under the posts. Nailsea were 33-0 up at half time with the game all but over.

The second half started with Nailsea trying to play an ever expansive game but some simple mistakes allowed Kingswood to finally score. Nailsea struggled to place together any decent possesion and finally a break from Darren Shinnet saw Nick Badcock cross for Nailsea's last try.

 

Kingswood never gave up and right at the end added a second try near to the end. Special mention to Tyrone Bennet who answered Nailsea's 11th hour call to stand in at prop. Another superb all round performance with Liam Harris winning the man of the match award.
