N & B II's 24-5 Keynsham III's

The Gladiators started by playing a very fast paced game to try and tire out the much heavier and expirenced Key's pack on another very warm day. Despite Nailsea creating a number of chances it took until the 25th minute for Freddie Le Dec to finally force an opening and steam his way through. Depite Keynsham then raising their game the first half finished a very evened out affair with just the one score seperating the two teams.
Nailsea instantly pushed hard at the begining of the second half with the very impressive Ashley Cotterill finishing off with a try which he also duly converted. Keynsham were quick to counter themselves and soon scored after putting Nailsea under pressure. Nailsea stuck to their game plan and slowly the cracks started to appear as the younger fitter team started to make the most of their chances and once again Cotterill finnished off another impressive move which once again he converted. Nailsea backs who were now really showing their attacking flair then found the talented Pete Hamblin crossing over for a deserved score after another very hard working performance from Nailsea's 3/4 back line. Other performances of note came from a very impressive debut from Jaime Sullivan some strong running from Neil Hatterall and the brilliant young talent of Tom Fletcher. A cracking alround performance from all involved which has seen a new standard set after last weeks disappointment and one they need to carry forward in the coming weeks with 2 very difficult away games to come. So well done to the lads and lets keep up the positive hard working mentallity!
