Remember this very simple mnemonic. It will help
 
R.I.C.E
 
Rest
Ice / Ibuprofen (where required as an anti inflamatory)
Compression
Elevation
  
And finally "Common Sense"
  
1. Players that are injured during matches. We usually have a physio present. The physio will confirm with yourself and the coach you are unable to continue.
2. At this point you need to apply the above mnemonic and where necessary see your G.P. or go to the hospital.
 
We have a physio available on a Tuesday evening who will also help you at the club at 6.30pm.
 
If you are injured do not train without telling the coach you are injured. He together with the advice of the physio and the player will decide.
